2oz Scratch Martini Style Gin
1oz Fresh Hibiscus Simple Syrup (recipe below)
Lime slice or wheel
Shake the gin and syrup with ice for about 15 seconds. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with lime.
Hibiscus simple syrup: Heat one cup of water in a small sauce pan until almost boiling. Slowly stir in one cup of sugar until fully dissolved. Remove syrup from heat. stir in hibiscus petals and let steep for 15 minutes, then strain out hibiscus. Store syrup in fridge for up to one week.
